This data is necessary for the technical operation of the site and is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) f GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and stable operation).

When you contact us via forms or e-mail, we process the data you provide (name, e-mail address, message and, where applicable, technical details about your infrastructure) in order to handle and respond to your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) b GDPR (performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures) or, where no direct contractual relationship exists, Art. 6 (1) f GDPR (legitimate interest in processing enquiries).

For sending e-mails and form messages, we use technical service providers and SMTP infrastructure which are carefully selected and bound by data processing agreements under Art. 28 GDPR.

5. Hosting and technical infrastructure

Our systems are operated in data centres with high security standards. Service providers that may have access to personal data as part of hosting are bound by data processing agreements pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

6. Storage periods and deletion

We store personal data only for as long as necessary for the respective purposes or where statutory retention obligations apply. Afterwards, the data is deleted or anonymised. Log data is usually deleted automatically after a short period, unless a security-related analysis is required.

7. Your rights under the GDPR

You have in particular the following rights: right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and the right to object to certain processing operations (Art. 21 GDPR).
